Sometimes I wish I could pause a situation. Then I would take a step back and rewind the tape, and play it again, watching myself in this scene. Why? Because it would give me more insight into other peoples reactions to my actions and the other way around. Well hold on to your seats because there is a technique that allows you to do exactly this, and more! What's more, this technique has been around for ages, dating as far back as the Roman Empire! You just haven't been in the loop of the select few people who know and practice these secret techniques. I used to be very skeptical about these sort of things. How can you transcend yourself and look at a situation from the outside looking in, instead of the inside looking out; how can you see yourself in the third person!? I can honestly tell you that once you have experienced these techniques, you will be a complete believer. In a recent session I was at we also had someone who didn't believe it and thought it too spiritual, but only a couple of hours later he was completely in awe about what he had experienced. And this happens all the time with people who experience the power of this secret technique!

Having a high IQ doesn't necessarily mean you're smart. Nothing new here, I mean, we have all witnessed George W. Bush and his blunders. A funny fact: Bush himself says that his thinking can hardly be described as rational. But this man has a high IQ; around 120. So what is the deal with being smart? Think of being smart as a flash light. The intensity of the beam is your IQ. But of course where you point it matters as much as the intensity of the beam...

Last week I had a discussion with two of my friends about being rich. They shared the opinion that it is impossible for everyone to be rich. But in my world, as I have experienced and see things, everyone can be wealthy. Distributing wealth is not competitive. There is enough wealth for the entire population of the world, and then ten times that. People just refuse to see how the world really works.

Is there such a thing as the meaning of life? And if there is, how do you find it? And will you know you've found it when you do? Or will it seem like just another something or other and will you discard it with everything else you discard? Well, there is a meaning of life. And the best part is that it isn't all that hard to find. Actually, there are millions of people who have already discovered the meaning of life. And all it took was a couple of hours of intense looking. Are you ready to discover the meaning of life?

Like so many other people in the world, I would label myself as a control-freak, or at least I used to be. Now, the scary part of this word is not 'control'. It is obviously 'freak'. It means to me that I am trying to be in control too much. Way too much, freakishly so. So that is that about me having a control issue. The real question is of course, how can we tackle such an issue if we have identified ourselves as having one? And how do we break loose from it?

Lately I have posted many articles on becoming successful and wealth. For me, these two have a tight connection with each other and with happiness and health. But I am a young person and lack, of course, the insight that comes with age-old experience. As do I lack the literary finesse of the great authors (give me a break here, okay?). But what do those people think about success? How do they judge themselves after a lifetime? What can we learn from people like Albert Schweitzer, Oscar Wilde or Warren Buffet?

The generation of my grandparents have it made basically. They worked hard for 40 years and then they received a nice pension from their retirement plan that they had saved for over the course of those 40 years. How can this plan be flawed at all? Don't all people simply save money to put into their retirement plan and justly receive this money when they retire?

Every little kid goes through the 'why' phase. The 'why' phase means that they'll ask the simple question 'Why?', and then when the parent answers the question they'll repeat this process, asking 'Why?' again. Until the parent simply gives up and stops answering or tells the kid to keep quiet. This is such bad parenting... and we've all had it.

Yesterday I had a meeting with my business partner who just came back from his holiday. And I was about to tell him something that I knew he was not going to like. But he's my partner so it also felt as though I had an obligation to tell him what was on my mind. In the past we've talked about tough personal circumstances and how that influences your work. Sometimes they make you work harder, at other times it has a negative impact on your work and commitment. But we talked about these things nonetheless, and it would seem as though this was just another case. Yet it wasn't.

As I explained in my previous post, I have a definition of wealth that may not be the same as yours. Many people think of wealth as an equivalent to being rich. In a certain extent they are right, because riches are a part of wealth. However, people who merely define being wealthy as being rich, miss the big picture. The true definition of wealth is much more subtle.
