Fossil fuels are going to become increasingly expensive as less crude oil is easily available. Extracting crude oil will become ever more expensive, which ultimately means there has to be an alternative to using fossil fuels and oil.
One of the big factors in the equation is of course our use of fossil fuels to power cars. Millions and soon billions of people are driving their cars to work every day. And we all agree that a new fuel must be found. Does this smell like the biggest entrepreneurial opportunity ever?
Hydrogen versus electricity
TED.com, which has become my favorite website of alltime almost over night, has hosted this great talk by Shai Agassi. He talks about the future of electric cars, how the infrastructure should work and why this is the way to go. This is simply a must-see video if you want to be ahead of the game.
Compete
The best thing about such big new economies is that there are unlimited ways to compete. From providing consulting to manufacturing or reselling, every aspect provides an opportunity.
Start thinking now about how this new economy will influence your field of work. What will change in the world around you. And, most importantly, how can you facilitate those changes. How can your expertise be used in accordance with new mobility?
