How to perceive with your Mind’s Eye

"Wealth can only be perceived with the mind's eye" is a quote I read in a book recently. This is very true, it takes visualization to perceive a situation as an opportunity. This doesn't only apply to wealth, it actually applies to all opportunities. In order to create something, it first has to be perceived with the mind's eye (i.e. visualized). So how does one perceive with the mind's eye then?

The secret to transcending yourself

Sometimes I wish I could pause a situation. Then I would take a step back and rewind the tape, and play it again, watching myself in this scene. Why? Because it would give me more insight into other peoples reactions to my actions and the other way around. Well hold on to your seats because there is a technique that allows you to do exactly this, and more! What's more, this technique has been around for ages, dating as far back as the Roman Empire! You just haven't been in the loop of the select few people who know and practice these secret techniques. I used to be very skeptical about these sort of things. How can you transcend yourself and look at a situation from the outside looking in, instead of the inside looking out; how can you see yourself in the third person!? I can honestly tell you that once you have experienced these techniques, you will be a complete believer. In a recent session I was at we also had someone who didn't believe it and thought it too spiritual, but only a couple of hours later he was completely in awe about what he had experienced. And this happens all the time with people who experience the power of this secret technique!

Test your thinking

Having a high IQ doesn't necessarily mean you're smart. Nothing new here, I mean, we have all witnessed George W. Bush and his blunders. A funny fact: Bush himself says that his thinking can hardly be described as rational. But this man has a high IQ; around 120. So what is the deal with being smart? Think of being smart as a flash light. The intensity of the beam is your IQ. But of course where you point it matters as much as the intensity of the beam...

Be – Do – Have

I was talking to a business partner of mine recently who is setting up a very innovative Internet concept. In a matter of minutes the main topic of our discussion had been discussed and we started talking about the future. What our dreams are and how we envision the future. It was a very interesting talk, even though it only lasted for a couple of minutes. After those couple of minutes we both went back to the usual business. He back to working his job so he can soon roll out his concept and I got back to working on my current project. This is key to achieving our goals, we have to be first, do second and have third. Both of us are, so right now we need to do. Which meant getting back to our day-to-day activities for now.

Why your retirement plan is fundamentally flawed

The generation of my grandparents have it made basically. They worked hard for 40 years and then they received a nice pension from their retirement plan that they had saved for over the course of those 40 years. How can this plan be flawed at all? Don't all people simply save money to put into their retirement plan and justly receive this money when they retire?

Google versus Microsoft: no game

When Google announced its operating system, the entire world press took this opportunity to announce that Google had finally opened fire at Microsoft. Bill Gates was going to have it now, because Google was stepping on his turf and, of course, was going to make a better operating system than Windows. Well, no. First of all I don't think that Google OS even qualifies as a truly new operating system. It is basically Chrome slapped on an altered Linux kernel. Which raised the question; why did Google release that operating system? And, does Microsoft really have something to fear?
